CHEX eLearning Library

CHEX eLearning Library, by The Corridor Group, provides essential information for home health care and hospice personnel, including skilled clinicians (nurses and therapists), social workers, administrators, and home health care and hospice aides. Continuing education credits are available for nurses and social workers. Lessons provide content required for skilled clinicians and nursing aides or assistants to provide age-specific care, essential skilled home health care and hospice services, and documentation required for reimbursement. Annual mandatory regulatory lessons are provided for clinicians working in the field or office. Coding and documentation content (OASIS C-1 and ICD-10) are provided through interactive lessons, webinars, and competency tests.

Mosby’s Essential Nursing Continuing Education

This uniquely designed and developed collection emphasizes evidence-based content for topics relevant to all nursing specialties. Developed upon a foundation of Joint Commission standards and the framework of five specialty professional nursing practice standards, the lessons focus on the need-to-know information and are presented as case-based, interactive and engaging experiences for the learner. Each lesson is mapped to one or more standards and groupings which make identifying and assigning appropriate lessons easier in order to meet the organization on and learner’s goals.

Mosby’s Orientation to Home Health Care*

Mosby’s Orientation to Home Health Care is a comprehensive online, continuing education course that helps home healthcare organizations prepare nurses and therapists to provide care to patients in their homes. This course not only helps nurses and therapists who are new to the specialty, but it enhances the knowledge of experienced home healthcare professionals who may have relocated or joined a new agency.

Written and peer reviewed by expert home health care nurses and therapists, Mosby’s Orientation to Home Health Care includes 24 lessons that incorporate best practice and practical, evidence-based content and promote effective, interprofessional collaboration. Other course features include interactive activities, case studies, cultural considerations, documentation highlights, and examples of relevant skills and patient education handouts.

Mosby’s Preceptor*

Developed in collaboration with the Association for Nursing Professional Development, this blended-learning course prepares a preceptor to effectively orient new clinicians and precept students during their clinical practice experience. The online curriculum enhances the unit-based orientation process in an organization and contributes significantly to improved recruitment and retention, while fostering competency development and safe, quality patient care. This solution also has a Knowledge Inventory Tool, which identifies knowledge gaps and appropriate lessons to address them. When used with Elsevier Performance Manager, lessons can be automatically assigned to learners.
